We've put together some resources to help you resolve some of the common challenges you may encounter interacting with the app.

  • I am not getting the OTP SMS.
    Often, when you don’t receive the OTP SMS, it is likely you have keyed in your number without starting with “0”
  • Am I able to rate clients and are clients able to rate my service?
    Yes, you can and vice versa.
  • Do I need to get vetted to complete my registration?
    No, you don’t. However, we recommend that you get vetted since it increases your chances of getting clients.
  • What documents do I need to get vetted?
    All you need to get vetted are scanned copies of your national ID and a selfie photo taken on the app.
  • How long will it take for the vetting process to be complete?
    The vetting process takes a minimum of 24 hrs and a maximum of 48 hrs to be completed.
  • How do I get verified as a Service Provider?
    Verification increases the chance of you getting more clients due to credibility. In order to get the verification mark, you need to present your vetting documentation: A scanned copy of your national ID A selfie photo taken on the app.
  • I don’t have all my vetting documents. Will that render my registration on Ziada incomplete?
    No. At minimum, you need to provide your national ID for you to start getting clients. You will however need to submit all the verfication documents to get verified on Ziada.
  • Why should I get vetted as a Service Provider? What documents do I need to get vetted?
    Vetting increases the chance of you getting more clients due to transparency. For vetting you need a scanned copy of your national ID, a selfie photo taken on the app.
  • Why did we change our name from Kazi App to Ziada?
    We changed our name because we wanted to go above and beyond for our clients and service providers, and we saw that kazi was limiting the links in several aspects, hence Ziada which gives a broader perspective to both the client and service providers.
  • I can’t find the services or service categories I need on Ziada.
    We’re always building our catalogue of services and service providers. Drop us an email highlighting which service you didn’t find and we’ll do our best to add it. Once we do, we’ll let you know.
  • Am I able to switch from service provider to client on Ziada?
    Yes, you can switch from one to the either just by a click of a button on the home homepage
  • Does Ziada set my prices?
    No, we only do the matching.The prices are set by the service providers.
  • I have more than one service to provide. Can I register all of them on Ziada?
    You can register up to 3 services that you are able to provide.
  • If I change my location, will I still be able to get clients?
    Yes, on the app you get clients who are around your live location when your location is turned on.
  • My category is not provided in the app, kindly assist
    We’re always building our database of services and service providers. Fill out this form highlighting which service you didn’t find and we’ll do our best to add it. Once we do, we’ll let you know.
  • I no longer offer a service I registered for. Can I delete it?
    Yes, you can. Under the services tab, there are 3 dots on the services under your profile. click on them to get to "delete service" . You can have up to 3 services at any one time.
  • I have more than one service to provide. Can I register all of them on Ziada?
    You can register only up to 3 services per user account.
  • I accidentally registered my service in the wrong category, how do I change it?"
    You can delete the service, there are 3 dots on the services under your profile. click on them to get to "delete service" .Then now select the correct one.
  • I no longer offer a service I registered for. Can I delete it?
    Yes, you can. Under the services tab, there are 3 dots on the services under your profile. click on them to get to 'delete service'. You can have up to 3 services at any one.
  • I live outside Kenya but offer services in Kenya. Can I still register my business?
    Yes, depending on your service category and have an active working kenyan phone number.
  • Can I sell products on Ziada?
    No, we don’t sell products, we only match service providers to clients.
  • Can I register my business from the website rather than the app?
    No, at the moment we only allow mobile registration, but in the future as we continue to expand .we might add that as an option.
  • Why did we change our name from Kazi App to Ziada?
    We changed our name from Kazi to Ziada because we felt it was too limiting. We’ve always been committed to going above and beyond for both our clients and service providers and we needed a name that reflected that.
  • I accidentally registered a service in the wrong category. How do I change it?
    You can't change the service category. You can however delete the wrong service entry by following the steps below. There are 3 dots on the services under your profile. Click on them to get to "delete service". Then select the erroneous one.
  • What is a Ziada Token?
    A Ziada token is an in-app currency that enables a service provider to accept a client lead on the application.
  • Are Ziada tokens free?
    No, Ziada tokens are not free, they cost 100 Kenyan Shillings.
  • Does Ziada have promo codes?
    Yes, when you register as a service provider we occasionally have welcome promo codes from time to time that you can use to redeem free tokens.
  • I have a Ziada promo code , how do I redeem it?
    Click on the “you” icon on the bottom right side of your screen on the service provider home page; Menu will appear Select promotions Enter promo code Click redeem
  • How do Ziada tokens work?
    Ziada tokens are currency links on the app, for a service provider to accept any job request received on the app, a service provider has to have tokens,one service request is equivalent to one token.
  • What will each token cost?
    Once you have used up the free tokens, you will need to top up tokens and one token is equivalent to 100 kenyan shillings.
  • How do I top up my Ziada tokens?

  • Why buy Ziada tokens?
    Ziada tokens are transacting links on the app for one to accept any service request.Ziada wants to help you expand your client portfolio. A token allows you to unlock the contact details of a client who has expressed interest in getting your services and who you have an opportunity to make your client for life.
  • What if I am unavailable for a job?
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ReJfWWRdeW4 When you get a client request and you are unavailable to do the job when you respond with “unavailable” on the app no token will be deducted since you did not accept the request.
  • How to check token balance on the app?
    You can see your token balance on the service provider home page on the top left corner
  • I am having trouble buying tokens from the app
    Our customer care team is here to assist you with purchase of tokens if you are having any challenges. Simply send us this message ”Please Help with the purchase of tokens” on whatsapp and we will initiate the purchase from our side through M-pesa . You will be prompted to put in your M-pesa PIN to complete the transaction and the token(s) will automatically be added to your Ziada account.
  • Do you take commissions from jobs booked through Ziada?
    No, we do not take a commission from any of the jobs you get from the clients matched on Ziada.
  • I am not receiving the OTP SMS.
    Often, when you don’t receive the OTP SMS, it is likely because your promotional messages are turned off. To activate this function, follow the instructions below: Dial *100# from your mobile phone. Select 5 - My subscriptions Select 2 - Promotional Messages Select 5 - Activate All promo messages
  • Can I find service providers based anywhere in Kenya on Ziada?
    Yes, the app has service providers across the country.
  • Am I able to rate the service provider?
    Yes, you can rate them after the service is rendered and they can do the same as well.
  • Can I get services outside Kenya?
    At the moment we are dealing with service providers within Kenya but we are looking forward to expanding to other countries.
  • Can I register with a phone number outside my country code?
    Due to credibility purposes you can only register at the moment with numbers provided by local service providers.
  • Why did we change our name from Kazi App to Ziada?

  • How do I become a part of the business advisory program?
    The business advisory program is a collaboration with the Qallann marketing agency, with the goal of increasing the visibility of your service providers in the market and equipping them with the necessary skills. After you fill out the form with your information, a representative from our organization will call you to set up a time for the session, which will be beneficial to increasing your company's social media presence as well as digital marketing skills.
